Territory Manager (Dallas/Ft. Worth, TX)

Financial Services leader

The ideal candidate will manage the market development of assigned territory, which includes assistance with territory VP in territorial profitability, acquisition of new business, and retention and expansion of business. Significant travel within the state of Texas is required.

Job Requirements:

> Develop and implement business, operating, market and strategic plans for geographic market.

The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years experience of proven field sales performance with large multi-million dollar financial services/retirement accounts preferably within RC. They will also have significant knowledge of investment products with an emphasis on deferred compensation, defined benefit and defined contribution plans. Good understanding of specific plan provisions, legislative regulations and compliance issues. BA/BS or equivalent work experience along with NASD Series 6 and 63 required. NASD Series 26 required within four months of hire/promotion to Territory Manager position. Additional required experience includes:

> Demonstrated ability to develop a sales plan, including a pipeline/activity plan.

> Strong record of success in cultivating and managing client relationships.

> Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills. Demonstrated ability to make effective group presentations. Record of success in field as an RPS and thorough knowledge of the Retirement Plan Specialist's field responsibilities.

> Some sales management experience in financial services and/or public sector financial services is highly desirable.

> Highly proficient with computer database management software programs necessary.
